Levenslang Amsterdam

Levenslang Amsterdam stands for celebrating life. Their new location,
which is - ironically enough - the old Bijlmer jail, adds rawness and urge to this. While designing their visual identity we kept playfulness and boldness in mind.
With a nod to the origin if the location the logo is built up from various bars and boxes.

The illustrative nature of the identity represents the idea of breaking free from restrictions.

Levenslang Amsterdam staat voor het vieren van het leven.
Hun nieuwe locatie is - ironisch genoeg- de oude Bijlmer bajes. Dit maakt de boodschap rauw en urgent. Met het ontwerpen van de visuele identiteit hebben we dan ook speelsheid en expressiviteit in ons hoofd gehouden. Met een knipoog naar de oorsprong van de locatie, is het logo opgebouwd uit verschillende 'tralies' en 'boxen'.

Het illustratieve karakter van onze identiteit representeert het idee van losbreken van restricties.
